The location in Münster’s Kreuzviertel district is rich in gastronomic history: for many years, the legendary student pub “Krokodil” was based here.
It was later followed by the well-known restaurant “Brust oder Keule,” named after the French film comedy of the 1970s.

Tradition interpreted in a new way

When BOK opened in 2019, it preserved and modernized the legacy of “Brust oder Keule.”
With the abbreviation “BOK,” the Michelin-starred restaurant proudly carries the location’s past in its name — along with the duck as its signature emblem.

With the rhythm of nature

The gourmet cuisine at BOK continually invites guests to enjoy an evening of indulgence.
The menu changes regularly with the seasons, making every visit unique.

Inside and outside

The modern, clean-lined spaces of BOK accommodate up to 32 guests, creating a pleasantly calm and personal atmosphere.
In sunny weather, reserving a table on the BOK terrace is highly recommended, as the cozy outdoor area — located in the lively Kreuzviertel district of Münster — is sheltered by large sun umbrellas.
In case of rain, a table inside the restaurant is reserved for all guests.

Please note that terrace seating is limited, and therefore we may not be able to guarantee a table outdoors.

Whether before a movie at the Schlosstheater, during a stroll through the Kreuzviertel district, or after work: the wine counter at BOK is always worth a visit.
With a glass of champagne, wine, or espresso — and a selection of changing small bites — guests can also enjoy the BOK atmosphere spontaneously.
